stop the war!

Together for Ukraine

The Upkey Foundation believes change is here and we have the technology, curriculum, mentorship platforms poised and ready to drive systemic change.

World at war

The events of the last two weeks in the Ukraine remind us that our world is always at war, somewhere. The number of Ukrainian refugees now well exceeds two million individuals, mostly women and children and the elderly.

We focus our initiatives in three areas: Chicago, Romania and Global refugees. As of March 1, 2022, the Upkey Foundation has raised more than $11,000 to date to support these initiatives.

We focus our initiatives in three areas:

Every member of the Upkey team knows all too well the impact of war, conflict, violence and instability. We have family, friends and colleagues in more than 35+ countries where instability, conflict, violence and war forms part of daily life. The events of the last two weeks remind us that our world is always at war, somewhere.

Chicago

We are actively involved in supporting initiatives which build bridges and community among Chicago's diverse residents and new immigrants to Chicago.

Global Refugees

This year, we will focus on supporting refugees from these countries/regions: Ukraine, Syria, Afghanistan, Iran, and Central America. Within these countries, we aim to support initiatives that advance the lives of women and girls, accelerate the learning, career and life trajectories of university students and young professional, and the care for the elderly in these communities.

Romania

We are dedicated to our initiatives to support teachers in schools as they seek to foster wellness and well-being among their students, especially as they welcome immigrant families with young children.
